“We recommend that they get checked up annually, just like your car,” said Operation Supervisor Ozzie Garcia. “You take it in every year just to make sure that everything is going to be working out just fine. Because the air conditioner and heater usually share certain components that can impact both systems, Garcia emphasized how important it is to maintain both properly.

“In our tuneups, we actually have 20-point inspections where we’re taking a look at everything that has to do with the equipment, testing all of the safety features, making sure that everything is going to be working great,” Garcia said.

Tuneups include not only checking the actual units, but also external factors like windows, insulation levels and other energy efficiency standards, according to Garcia.

Garcia noted that most tuneups that have been regularly performed simply require replacing the air filter, but for major issues, a variety of financing options are offered by the Santa Clarita HVAC service company.

“With some of the financing that we offer, … we have clients that are putting in air conditioning for less than $150 a month, and on top of that, we also give a lowest price guarantee,” Garcia said. “You can’t get any more affordable than that.”
